For You Supermarket is inspired by a man who spent his life doing exactly that — our father, our first teacher, and the guiding force behind our values.

Born into a humble family, he chose a life of discipline, simplicity, and service. As a headmaster, he dedicated himself not only to educating children, but to shaping their character — teaching honesty, responsibility, compassion, and righteousness.

His greatest classroom was his own home.

As the father of five sons, he put his family before himself. He gave up comforts, desires, and his own happiness so his children could have opportunities he did not always have. He never imposed a dream on them. Instead, he understood something ahead of his time:

Among his five sons is Nigamananda Jena, Founder of For You Supermarket. From childhood, Nigamananda learned a simple lesson from his father: always do good for others. And if doing the right thing ever demands the greatest sacrifice, never step back.

That lesson became a way of life.

Our father believed success was not measured by how much one could earn, but by how much good one could create in the lives of others. Even through challenges, responsibilities, financial pressure, and personal struggle, he rarely let hardship show. His children remember his ever-smiling face, his calm nature, and the way he always found a path to fulfil their needs and dreams.

He encouraged all five sons to discover their strengths, choose their careers, and build lives that made them happy. He did not only tell them how to live — he showed them through his own life.

A Life Dedicated to Service

His commitment went far beyond his profession. For years he served his community with Ayurvedic medicines and guidance, without expecting money in return. Helping someone in need was never a transaction. It was a responsibility towards humanity.

He taught his children that true service does not always require money. Sometimes it only requires a good heart, the courage to help, and the willingness to stand beside someone in need. He lived those words every day.
